چکیده
For a neat lattice $$\Gamma < SU(1,2)$$, whose quotient $${\mathbb B} / \Gamma$$ is birational to bi-elliptic surface, we compute the dimensions of cuspidal $$\Gamma$$-modular forms $$[ \Gamma,n]_o$$ and all modular \Gamma, n]$$ weight $$n \geq 2. $$ The work provides sufficient condition for subspace $$V \subset [ determine regular projective embedding Baily-Borel compactification $$\widehat{ {\mathbb \Gamma}$$ applies this criterion specific example.

Equivalent Birational Embeddings Ii: Divisors
Two divisors in Pn are said to be Cremona equivalent if there is a Cremona modification sending one to the other. We produce infinitely many non equivalent divisorial embeddings of any variety of dimension at most 14. Then we study the special case of plane curves and rational hypersurfaces. For the latter we characterise surfaces Cremona equivalent to a plane, under a mild assumption. Introduc...
متن کاملHurwitz ball quotients
We consider the analogue of Hurwitz curves, smooth projective curves C of genus g ≥ 2 that realize equality in the Hurwitz bound |Aut(C)| ≤ 84(g − 1), to smooth compact quotients S of the unit ball in C. When S is arithmetic, we show that |Aut(S)| ≤ 288e(S), where e(S) is the (topological) Euler characteristic, and in the case of equality show that S is a regular cover of a particular Deligne–M...
متن کاملQuotients of Fake Projective Planes
Recently, Prasad and Yeung classified all possible fundamental groups of fake projective planes. According to their result, many fake projective planes admit a nontrivial group of automorphisms, and in that case it is isomorphic to Z/3Z, Z/7Z, 7 : 3, or (Z/3Z), where 7 : 3 is the unique non-abelian group of order 21. Let G be a group of automorphisms of a fake projective plane X. In this paper ...

Given two embeddings σ1 and σ2 of a labeled nonplanar graph in the projective plane, we give a collection of maneuvers on projective-planar embeddings that can be used to take σ1 to σ2.
متن کاملEmbeddings of Real Projective Spaces
The question of finding the smallest Euclidean space in which real projective space P n can be (differentiably) embedded was the subject of intense investigation during the 1960s and 1970s. The purpose of this paper is to survey the status of the question, and add a little bit to our knowledge by proving one new family of embeddings, using old methods of obstruction theory. Our new result is gi...
